Welcome to My Personal Page
As you probably know, my spouse, Glenn, was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease at age 36. What a horrible and scary diagnosis for a young man and young father to recieve. The last 27 years have not been easy for Glenn, nor for his family. His speech can be hard to understand, walking is difficult, REM sleep disorder, a part of Parkinson's, keeps him from feeling rested and, among many other symptoms and issues, he also has eyelid apraxia. That means he often times has difficulty opening his eyes. But through it all, he is a very positive person!
I am participating in Moving Day Chicago, benefiting the Parkinson's Foundation, becuase I want a cure for this disease! And short of a cure, I want more information and education for those with the disease and their families. With your help, the Parkinson's Foundation can support research to find a cure, and provide more support to those who suffer and their loved ones.
Please either join my team and fundraise OR make a donation to support my goal to $1,000. Glenn and I would both be very appreciative!
