Wilson's Walk for Pop
"None of us thought anything of it / until one day we did." from Stephen Dunn's poem "Once Upon" in Here and Now (2011).
This Saturday we are participating in Moving Day Buffalo, benefiting the Parkinson's Foundation.
In past years I have participated to support our Parkinson's patients and the great work our UB Speech-Language and Hearing Clinic does with this population offering weekly speech groups and research that colleagues do in this area.
This year we walk in honor of Pop. He had many great years of active living due to medication, technology & research he benefitted from daily. Please consider being a part of sponsoring our team.
Thank you for helping us support the vital work of the Parkinson's Foundation.
Why Move for Moving Day?
Did you know that someone is diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease every 9 minutes in the United States? No one should have to face Parkinson’s alone. That is why the Parkinson's Foundation provides a community of support to give people the resources and help they need to live well with Parkinson’s.
Support our mission to help every person diagnosed with Parkinson's live their best possible life now. Your gift will help us fund better research, better treatment and better lives.
