Welcome to My Personal Page
My name is Chris, marching in memory of my grandpa Victor who passed away from PD. It was devestating seeing his transformation year to year as a kid, but sparked my fascination for the brain, as I tried to understand more about what was happening in his brain.
My grandpa's experience with PD made me fall in love with the idea of understanding gaps in research, and areas we need to prioritze to help such a population of individuals. This curiosity has led me to pursue my PhD in Neuroscience currently, where I am studying how the PD risk mutation LRRK2 G2019S mediates the non-motor symptoms seen in PD.
My goal with moving day is to connect with others affected with PD, and march together to bring more awarness to PD.
