In the United States, 50,000-60,000 new cases of Parkinson’s disease (PD) are diagnosed each year, adding to the one million people who currently have PD. And one more number -- the Carolina's chapter of the Parkinson's Foundation is attempting to rise $215,000 to better the lives of Parkies near and far. Over the past 4 years, this team has been among the leaders in fundraising in the MOVING DAY events, sometimes with large "out of the ordianary" contributions. (being selected as a corporations' Charity of the Year; or the proceeds from sale of Covin masks).   We can achieve the $215K target  We need to:

1.  S T R E T C H a little in our personal donations to the cause.

2.  Engage our families and encourage them to engage with their circle of conacts. Not suprisingly the event with the largest number of teams  and the teams with the most players are the teams that bring in the most money.

3.  Find a new Big Hitter (or several]
