Earlier in May, Sheila was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease.  While this was not the diagnosis we were hoping for, Sheila's strength and positive attitute has really inspired us all to get behind this fight!  Hopefully some day we'll see a cure for this disease which is why we formed this team!  Thank you for your interest in this Moving Day on October 3rd and we'd love to have you join our team!  You don't have to be a Granite Stater either!!  :)

One thing we didn't know was that nearly 60,000 new cases of Parkinson’s disease (PD) are diagnosed each year in the United States, adding to the one million people who currently have PD.

Join the Granite Staters for Parkinsons team for the local Parkinson’s Foundation Moving Day walk, the first nationwide grassroots campaign that spotlights the disease on a national level and gives the chance to raise awareness and funds in our own community. Your support will help us continue improving the quality of care for those living with Parkinson’s disease.
