Welcome to My Personal Page
I am participating in Moving Day® DFW, benefiting the Parkinson's Foundation on October 17th, 2020. Let me tell why.
I am participating for myself. I was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease 7 1/2 years ago on Valentine's Day.
I am participating in memory of my dad who was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease.
I am participating in memory of my great grandfather who was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease.
I am participating for the amazing friends I have made since being diagnosed. I consider them my PD family.
I am participating for all of my friends that have been supporting me since being diagnosed.
I am participating for my mom, my siblings, their spouses, David's siblings, spouses and all of their kiddos.
Last but most importantly, I am participating and fighting this disease for my five granddaughters, my 3 children, their wonderful other halves, and my husband, the most
amazing man ever.
Please consider joining me in raising money and awareness for Parkinson's Foundation Moving Day DFW and my team, Carey's Clan, http://www3.parkinson.org/goto/careysclan. You can join me in person, virtually or by donation. David and I are working on some very exciting fund raising events that will allow us to follow social distancing guidelines. Please stay tuned in for details about our Drive By Fish Fry For Parkinson's. We are so appreciative and grateful for our family members, Jim Bob and Cathy, that are making this possible. Details coming soon!
Please consider being a part of my team and making a donation to Carey's Clan, or sponsoring me. Please consider also asking your friends, family and coworkers to get involved.
Thank you for helping me reach my fundraising goal to support the vital work of the Parkinson's Foundation.
With love and gratitude,
Carey
