Welcome to My Personal Page

I am participating in Moving Day Jacksonville benefiting the Parkinson's Foundation. I was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease back on December of 2017 at the age of 46. I was mis- diagnosed for many years and if I was better educated on Parkinson's disease I would have gone to see a Neurologist earlier and would have been diagnosed sooner. Consequently, I would be able to get the much needed treatment and support for my newly diagnosed condition of Parkinson's. Education along with research and support is a few of many things the Parkinson's foundation does to assist Parkinson's patients and their families. They educate by having an amazing internet page filled with information from highly trained doctors in the field to help guide the patient and families through the many different disabilities associated with this disease. Furthermore, they provide educational seminars and internet forums conducted by highly trained individuals in Parkinson's. Research is another important field the Parkinson's Foundation continues to support by providing funding, which comes from fundraisers just like this one, to support many research projects to help find a cure and provide a better life for the Parkinson’s patient. Finally, the Parkinson's foundation provides support for the patient and entire family by providing a toll free number to call and to assist in providing many needed answers to questions to help assist during difficult times. The support line is also there to just listen which is what can be the most important thing needed at difficult times. None of this can be done without your support to this fundraiser. If able any donation will be much appreciated or you can alsop join my team to help fubdraise for this wonderful cause.. Thank you for your support.
The event will be a fun-filled, family-friendly event for all ages and abilities. We will be able to enjoy a variety of movement activities like yoga, dance, Pilates, Tai Chi, boxing, stretching and much more and celebrate the importance of movement in our lives.
Please consider being a part of my team or sponsoring me, and I encourage you to get your friends, family and coworkers involved.
Thank you for helping me reach my fundraising goal to support the vital work of the Parkinson's Foundation.
