Welcome to My Personal Page
With 2020 being quite the year, I'm excited to be raising awareness & funds in the fight against Parkinson's Disease. My mom was diagnosed with early onset Parkinson's in 2014. She has continued to fight with positivity and strength but this year has had it's fair share of challenges related to Parkinson's. Love and support from family & friends have been instrumental in helping us navigate these difficult waters. The Parkinson Foundation does tremendous work in supporting those with PD & their families and in funding the critical research for a cure.
Please consider donating to our team for this year's Parkinson’s Foundation Virtual Chicago Moving Day walk and joining "Laura's Posse". Moving Day is nationwide grassroots campaign that spotlights the disease on a national level and gives the chance to raise awareness and funds in our own community.
Since this year's walk is virtual, the four of us and a few other family members will also be doing our own private walk along the Lakefront on October 24th. We encourage our friends to take a similar "walk" that day and send us your selfie! Laura's Posse is going virtual this year and we're ready!! No donation is too small, but know that no matter how you support our family, through the Foundation, taking a walk or just thinking of us, we will forever be grateful!
Thank you for helping me reach my fundraising goal to support the vital work of the Parkinson's Foundation.
Why Move for Moving Day?
Did you know that someone is diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease every 9 minutes in the United States? No one should have to face Parkinson’s alone. That is why the Parkinson's Foundation provides a community of support to give people the resources and help they need to live well with Parkinson’s.
Support our mission to help every person diagnosed with Parkinson's live their best possible life now. Your gift will help us fund better research, better treatment and better lives.
