Moving Day Baltimore

Bobby Lew's Bowlers

Welcome to our Moving Day® Team Page!

In the United States, 50,000-60,000 new cases of Parkinson’s disease (PD) are diagnosed each year, adding to the one million people who currently have PD.

Please join our team, Bobby Lew's Bowlers, for the local Parkinson’s Foundation Moving Day walk, the first nationwide grassroots campaign that spotlights the disease on a national level and gives the chance to raise awareness and funds in our own community. Your support will help us continue improving the quality of care for those living with Parkinson’s disease.

This year the walk will be both virtual and a unique drive-by event. It will take place at Winter Growth in Columbia, Md. on Saturday, May 1, 2021. We hope you can join either one for a fun day of events and where you can learn about Parkinson's disease. As you can see, I've included a picture of my Dad who was diagnosed with PD a few years before his death. He was the first African American to join the Rockville Volunteer Fire Department, joining in 1969. He was also an advid bowler.

To donate or visit a team members personal page please select from the ‘Team Roster’ list at the bottom of the page.

Thank you for supporting us and the vital work of the Parkinson’s Foundation.
