#TeamJeff is at it again!
Join us on Saturday, June 11, 2022 for the 3rd annual Parkinsons Revolution ride!
I'll be riding along side my husband and two sons to raise funds and awareness with the Parkinson's Foundation and virtually with my brother and Gary in Florida.
Here is the story of Jeff Kolodny and why we are riding together on June 11th:
“Parkinson’s might slow him down, but it won’t stop his determination and grit when battling this disease!
Let me rewind…In 2015, my father began feeling some symptoms of Parkinson and kept it quiet for a full year and definitely didn’t tell me. My grandfather (his father) had the same disease, so with that in the back of his mind, he sat on this for a while and waited to see if symptoms progressed. Eventually, my Dad was given a referral and managed to get an appointment with a very well-known Doctor in this field. While it really was more of an affirmation to him, the rest of our family was a little stunned by the news.
Like other ailments my Dad has dealt with in his life, we all knew that his Parkinson’s was going to be battled head on. Here is what he has beat thus far. A major colon re-sectioning, prostate cancer, and recently a full shoulder replacement and repair. If that’s not enough, he also played a vital role in my Mom’s fight and full recovery from Cardiac Arrest in 2009.
If you find yourself in Vegas, place a large wager that Jeff Kolodny is going a full 12 rounds fighting this degenerative disease. Hitting the gym every morning like my father does takes a great deal of drive and determination. It’s so rare that if he is not in the gym, people in his community get nervous and call to make sure he is ok.
