I'm ready to ride. As you know, I was diagnosed With PD in 2022. Amy and I have to learn to live with the effects this disease has on our daily lives. That said - i don't accept that all is lost. We intend to live our best lives, and forestall symptoms with an "all in" approach of meds, boxing, PT, and advocacy for a cure.
On Saturday, February 22, 2025, I'm clipping in, gearing up, and riding to raise funds and awareness with the Parkinson's Foundation. In the United States, nearly 90,000 people are diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease (PD) every year, adding to the one million people who currently have PD. Exercise, like indoor cycling, improves quality of life for people living with Parkinson’s and movement benefits everyone. My personal experience has been outstanding - when I pedal, I feel as strong as my pre-Parkinson's days - its a lifeline to what I hope someday will be my "normal" again.
Every dollar I raise goes a long way in helping the Parkinson's Foundation fulfill its mission of improving the lives and advancing research toward a cure. Please support me by making a donation. Your generosity makes a real difference in people’s lives. The Parkinson’s Foundation has the research, the data — and the stories — to prove it. We are pulling together as one global, determined and inspired movement.
The Movement Begins With You!
