Location & Parking

Parkinson’s Revolution Buffalo will take place at the Revolution Buffalo location: 1716 Main St, Buffalo, NY 14209. Parking is available in the lot between the Revolution Buffalo building and the church next door. Please note, street parking only on Sundays.

Check-In

Upon arrival, check in at the front desk. A volunteer or staff member will direct you, here you will be able to confirm your bike, drop off any check donations, pick up any earned rewards and get ready for the ride. See below for additional information about your city-specific ride.

Shoes

Revolution Buffalo utilizes clips (SPD) and cages! Bring your own shoes to clip in or use a pair of tennis shoes to use the pedal cages.

What to Wear to Spin Class?

New to indoor cycling? You will want to wear comfortable clothes designed for exercising. Consider wearing tighter pants or shorts that won’t move around as you ride the bike. Wicking material (not cotton) is the best fabric for fitness – when you start sweating it wicks the moisture away from your skin so you can feel comfortable while you ride! A small towel might be useful as well.

What to Expect at the 2022 Event:

We have made some changes for the 2022 event to make sure we keep all our participants, volunteers and staff as safe as possible. Masks and hand sanitizer will be available throughout the spin studio location. Bikes will be sanitized between rides. This year we will also be utilizing QR codes at the event that you can scan with your smartphone to learn more about our Parkinson’s resources.

Ride Day Tips:

1. Drink lots of water before, during and after your class. Staying hydrated is a BIG part of staying healthy. Bring a full water bottle with you.
2. Eat a small snack 45 minutes before class, including morning classes! Exercising on a very full or empty stomach is not recommended.
3. Check that your handlebar and seat settings are tightly in place and that your shoes are securely in your pedals. Ask the studio staff for help if it’s your first-time riding – they’re experts and there to help you 😊.
4. Please notify instructors before class if you have any injuries so that they can help accommodate and offer modifications.

On-event Donations

Please remember Parkinson’s Revolution is a cashless event. Credit card donations can be made online through PDRevolutionBuffalo.org. If you would like to make a check donation you can bring it to the event and drop it off with event staff. We will also be accepting credit card donations on-site.

Parkinson’s Revolution Rewards

Raise funds, get rewards! Riders who raise $250 or more are eligible for Parkinson’s Revolution Rewards which you can pick up on event day at the Swag Station. Click here to learn more about the gear you’ll earn on ride day for raising $250 or more.

Please contact us if you have any questions or need assistance. We look forward to riding together as one team with one goal: beat Parkinson’s!

*The health and safety of our participants, sponsors, volunteers, and staff are our top priority. We are monitoring the pandemic closely and keeping the Parkinson’s community at the forefront of all our decision-making. Changes to the event date and location may be made, if necessary.
