Community Walk - Walk Over Water

Location & Parking

Our "Walk Over Water" will take place on the Walkway Over the Hudson, starting on the Poughkeepsie side.  In addition to street parking on Parker Avenue, there are two new paved lots on each side of the street that are planned to be completed before the Walk. Handicapped/mobility-issue parking on the upper level is also available at 61 Parker Avenue. An attendant will admit you at the gate.

Community Walk is for participants of all ages and abilities (sorry, no dogs are allowed on the track). Participants are welcome to walk as few or as many times around the track as they like. The track is a quarter mile around. So four times around the track equals one mile. Challenge yourself by asking friends and colleagues to donate $5.00 (or any amount) for each time you make it around the track!

Restrooms

Restrooms will be available at both ends of the Walkway.
