I created a tribute page for the Parkinson's Foundation in honor of a loved one.
With your support we can help the foundation's mission to make life better for people with Parkinson’s. I know you understand the importance of raising money for such an important cause.
No matter what you can afford, every dollar counts! So please make a donation on my behalf.
Thank you so much for all of your support and helping us raise funds and awareness for Parkinson's disease.
Why Get Involved
The Parkinson's Foundation makes life better for people with Parkinson's disease by improving care and advancing research toward a cure. In everything we do, we build on the energy, experience and passion of our global Parkinson's community.
EULOGY:
Michael, Mike, Father, Dad, Daddy, Pops, Grampie, Mister Hurrell - He was known in many ways.
He was many things to many people - he was a good friend who could be counted on in a time of need.
He was loyal, reliable, responsible, determined, tenacious, gregarious and he cared greatly. He loved life - travelling, socialising, making new friends, staying involved, dancing, laughing, telling a good story, he could work a room and he certainly loved a good deal, good music and a good club! (The Automobile Club, Yacht Club, RAF Club, Rowing Club, Tennis Club, Tuesday Lunch Club, Curry Club, The List goes on... and on his last cruise, he insisted on going to the night club with Matti).
His life began in Plymouth - where he worked in the dockyard as an apprentice, then left become an RAF pilot flying Vulcans. Moving around the UK and then to Ghana.
After leaving the RAF, he started his Yachting career with Dave Johnson - the family then moved to Italy and ultimately to Monaco where he stayed.
He had a long marriage to Angela and was fortunate to have found love again later in life with Lisa whom he met by happy destiny on one of his many cruises. In retirement, he loved watching Formula One and motor racing, travelling the world with Lisa and sharing stories about his RAF and Yachting days.
His life was rich and vibrant, he was loved and cared about - he was funny, he was important to us and we miss him.
And we're sure that the Negroni's where he is are delicious!
