
Museo Memoria y Tolerancia
Founded in 2010, Museo Memoria y Tolerancia, is a
non-profit organization based in Mexico City. The Museum’s mission is to spread
the importance of tolerance, the culture of peace, memory and Human Rights.
This Museum has gained recognition for inspiring change by raising awareness
through their exhibitions.
Up to 2018, the Museum welcomed
3 million visitors, positioning it as one of the most visited in Mexico City.
Since its opening and until last year, the Museum has hosted 56 temporary
exhibitions. In addition, it offered 1,760 courses at the Educational Center
which benefitted about 268,209 participants promoting the education of
tolerance.
After almost 10 years of
operation, the Museum has become a prominent institution at a national level
encourages new generations to seek a healthier and more committed coexistence
with their environment.
Museo Memoria y Tolerancia‘s continued work in Quality Education,
Restoration and conservation depends on the support of generous individuals and
