Superación Personal a través de la Tecnología (SUPERATEC)
A nonprofit organization founded in 2002 in Venezuela, Personal Growth through Technology- SUPERATEC, whose mission is to transform the lives of people and communities by creating opportunities and promoting education, technology, entrepreneurism, digital inclusion, human development, knowledge, employment and build capacity.
SUPERATEC promotes digital inclusion through its educational programming, formal and unconventional, focused on developing personal and social skills needed to obtain dignified employment. SUPERATEC programs have impacted more than 40,000 people and 5,000 youth have been placed through the SUPERATEC Job Bank while over 6,000 continue or have completed college education.
SUPERATEC’s main program "Encoding and Transforming Program" aims to provide intensive technical IT training to low-income youth, especially young women between the ages of 15 and 30 years old, who are interested in becoming IT programmers and are looking for a better work opportunity.
SUPERATEC’s continued work in digital inclusion and Job Preparedness Program depends on the support of generous individuals and businesses willing to help the institution.
