“When hunger ends, learning begins.” – Principal Boyd Braden, McCord Elementary
One in four children in Oklahoma struggles with hunger on a daily basis. Won't you join Oklahoma's Own Amanda Taylor and News 9 in the fight against childhood hunger in Oklahoma? Please make a donation today to support the Food for Kids program so that every child in Oklahoma has their most basic need for food met. The Food for Kids program provides chronically hungry children, identified by school personnel, with backpacks filled with non-perishable, kid-friendly food to eat over weekends and school holidays.
A $200 donation will provide one chronically hungry child with a backpack of food every weekend for an entire school year! Please be as generous as you can. Elementary school children here in central and western Oklahoma need our help to keep from going hungry during the weekends this school year. Together, we can ensure every hungry child in Oklahoma has access to weekend food. Thank you for your support! Should you have any questions about the Regional Food Bank, Food for Kids or about your online donation, please feel free to contact us. Thank you.
If you donate and have not already registered, you will receive periodic updates and communications from The Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma.
