Welcome to my Colombia Ride for Shelter fundraising page!
Since June 2023, over 60 Canadian municipalities have declared Intimate Partner Violence an epidemic.
While the issue is complex, Royal LePage® professionals understand instinctually that a house is only a home if the people who live there feel safe. With over $46 million raised to date in support of the Royal LePage® Shelter Foundation™, our resolve to end family violence in Canada has never been stronger. I hope you’ll join me in making a difference with your support!
This July, I will be heading to Colombia for a 9 day mixed terrain adventure, all in support of the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation. My fellow riders and I will journey across pristine Caribbean beaches and through both thick jungle mountains and unrelenting desert landscapes. Days will be long for both body and mind and there will be few comforts of home available. While it won’t be easy, we’ll have an epic ride led by professional guides and locals and experience a beautiful culture.
Most importantly of all, we’ll raise thousands of dollars for women and children finding safety, hope and healing after experiencing intimate partner violence. To participate, each rider must raise at least $3,000 in support of the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation which will fund their local Violence Against Women shelter as well as prevention programs across the country aimed at stopping this senseless violence before it starts.

Thank you for your support! Please note: The Royal LePage Shelter Foundation issues tax receipts in February for all donations of $20 or more made in the previous calendar year. And 100% of your donations go directly to helping the more than 50,000 women and children who are served each year by the shelters and support programs the Shelter Foundation funds. Every rider on this trip donates their time and pays their own way.
