Please join us from the comfort of your home as we pave the road home for veterans, service members and their families. This virtual benefit will support the Road Home Program: The National Center of Excellence for Veterans and Their Families at Rush in our mission to heal the invisible wounds war these individuals face as a result of their service to our country.

Although we’re unable to come together in person, we can still change the course of a veteran’s life by raising funds to provide specialized mental health services, peer-to-peer outreach, counseling and other resources necessary to transition from military to civilian life — regardless of their ability to pay.

Veteran advocacy groups are sounding the alarm on the long-term impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and the effects of social isolation on veteran mental health. Now, more than ever, donor support helps the Road Home Program serve those who served us while shaping the future of mental health care for veterans, their families and others overcoming trauma.

Together we can show them they are not alone.

The 2020 benefit will be unlike any other Road Home Program event. We are especially honored to welcome General John R. Allen, USMC (Ret.), retired U.S. Marine Corps four-star general and former commander of the NATO International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) and U.S. Forces in Afghanistan. We have also partnered with Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises to offer exclusive dinner packages from their leading chefs and restaurants for at-home dining, and the evening will include both live and pre-recorded programming, including special entertainment by Chicago Cubs National Anthem Singer John Vincent.
