Welcome to our team page!  We are participating in the Annual Race For Research. It's a fundraising event that raises money to support brain tumor research. If you've not participated before, there's no time like the present.

You can participate along with me, help me spread the word about this fundraising event, or make a donation toward my fundraising effort. Many of the registrants are brain tumor patients who are just happy to be alive and happy to be able to participate in this event.

Just so you know, the Southeastern Brain Tumor Foundation is recognized as as a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit organization and as a public charity. Donations to the SBTF in support of my fundraising efforts are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. Your support will have a positive impact on the life of a brain tumor patient because it generate awareness about this disease and will help to fund much needed brain tumor research.

Sadly, many of us don't realize how scary a brain tumor diagnosis is until someone we know is told "you have a brain tumor" or "you have brain cancer".

Oh, and one more thing, did you know you can double your donation through employer matching programs? Be sure to check with your Human Resources Department to determine if your company will match your donation. If they say yes, you can double your donation with just a few clicks of your mouse.
