This is our eighth year fundraising and participating in the Race for Research. This year, our goal is to raise $2,000! We are so excited to see what is in store for our team, and for the future in brain tumor research!
This team is in support of my mom, Heather Houle. In November of 2016, we received the news that no family wants to hear, my mom had a Class IV Glioblastoma. Most glioblastoma patients live only 6-18 months, my mom fought hard for 58 months! Sadly, she passed on September 22, 2021. I promised her back in 2017 I participate in the Race for Research for the rest of my life, and I am excited to be doing this for her!
