Welcome to our team page! SBTF Race for Research in Barry’s memory.
The annual event raises money to fund brain tumor research.
We have chosen the name Barry’s Team Braveheart - in part because he loved the movie Braveheart and also due to the fact he never gave up on any endeavor - including the diagnosis and subsequent treatment of brain cancer. We decided instead of spending $ to have a “team” shirt made, we’d ask you to wear a blue t-shirt that day in his memory (you can still walk/run with us even if you don’t wear blue! Gray is the official color for brain cancer)
Even if you cannot participate or contribute, we appreciate prayers for those who will be beneficiaries of the funds raised.
We hope to see you there and thank you for your support and love this past year.
*(The Southeastern Brain Tumor Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit organization and a public charity)
