Our team was created in 2000 in honor of my brother Jeff Epperson.  Jeff was battling a brain cancer diagnosis.  Unfortunately, he lost his battle with brain cancer in 2001 and now we run this race in his honor.

We would love for you to join our team and support this very important cause.  If you can join us on race day and support Steps for Epp, we would love to have you represent our team!  

There are several ways in which you can join our team.  You can register as a reimagined participant and show your support from anywhere--or you can support the cause and honor the memory of Jeff by donating on to our team page. 

Through your generosity, team Steps for Epp has raised more than $150,000 in support of brain cancer research; we're the sixth highest grossing team in the history of this race.  We're honored to have an SBTF Research grant award issued in Jeff's name.  It's called the Jeff Epperson Memorial Award.
