Act to Stop the Hate in Burma

A sophisticated, well-financed campaign against anyone who is Muslim is growing in Burma. It is led by a band of nationalist racists including some Buddhist monks. And the Burmese government has proven either unwilling or incapable of stopping the spread of violence.

Meanwhile, the U.S. Congress is currently debating whether or not to keep sanctions against Burma. Sanctions are the final bit of pressure the U.S. has left to demand that the Burmese government finally do what is right.

Don’t let Congress let it this pressure slip away. Act now — contact your representative and demand that the U.S. stand with those under siege in Burma by supporting the Burmese Freedom and Democracy Act.
