When do the races begin?

The Half Marathon and 10K races start at 6:30 am at Westfield North County Mall. View the Race Day Schedule.

When is Packet Pickup?

Packet pickup will be at Road Runner Sports on Saturday, May 3, from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.

All participants will need to sign the waiver, pick up their T-shirt, bib, and timing chip.

Can someone else pick up my bib?

Yes. They will need to bring a copy of your ID as well as a waiver signed by you.

I'm unable to run the race. What is the refund and transfer policy?

We're sorry you can't participate in this year's race! Refunds are not available.

To transfer your bib to another person or to transfer from the 10K to the Half Marathon, please bring the Transfer Form, along with a $20 transfer fee, to Packet Pickup at Road Runner Sports on Saturday, May 3 from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Unfortunately since the 10K is SOLD OUT you cannot transfer from the Half Marathon to the 10K.

Can I upgrade my registration to be a Wildlife Champion?

Yes. Please request an upgrade.

Can I change which race I am running?

To transfer from the 10K to the Half Marathon, please bring the Transfer Form, along with a $20 transfer fee, to Packet Pickup at Road Runner Sports on Saturday, May 3 from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Unfortunately since the 10K is SOLD OUT you cannot transfer from the Half Marathon to the 10K.

What happens if I am registered as a Wildlife Champion and I do not raise $500?

If you are unable to raise the $500 minimum by April 28, 2014, current registration rates will apply to participate. Email notification will go out in mid-April regarding registration status.

If I am not registered as a Wildlife Champion, can I still raise funds?

Absolutely. Every participant is given a personal web page as soon as they register. If you raise $500 or more, you will be eligible for the exclusive benefits for Wildlife Champions!

How do I get to the Start Line?

How do I get back to my car at the mall once I've finished the race?

Runners and spectators will be shuttled back to the mall after the race. Shuttles will run continuously from 9 a.m. – noon, and every half hour from 12:30 – 5:30 p.m. View more shuttle information.

How can my friends and family see me finish the race?

Both races will finish inside the Safari Park. Spectator Passes are available for $30, which includes all-day admission to the Safari Park. If you have a San Diego Zoo Membership, you do not need to purchase Spectator Passes. View more spectator information.

Are there any discounts for members?

Sorry, since this is a fundraising event, we do not offer member discounts.

Is my registration fee tax-deductible?

The registration fee is not tax-deductible, although any donations from you or your friends and family are considered tax-deductible.
