Anyone can participate from wherever they are in Canada! Minors will need their parent's permission to fundraise and upload their photos/video to social media. Some people may need assistance or may need to modify the challenges to suit their abilities.
You can post your splash anytime during the month of August.
Splash For Kids takes place in your own space: your bathtub, balcony, backyard, pool, a virtual green screen - it's all up to you where you want make your splash.

You sure can! Feel free to have others in your splash, or better yet ask them to join, fundraise and make their own splash too!
Each individual is encouraged to raise $200. That's only 10 friends at $20 each - and we will be sharing some ideas and weekend fundraising challenges to get you there! Splash Central is your online resource to help you in your fundraising journey. It has loads of valuable tools and resources that will help you raise as much money as possible. Use your Splash Central to set up your personal fundraising page, utilize the template emails and track your progress.

Absolutely! We make it FUN and easy for you to challenge your friends and family to help support your involvement in The Great Canadian Splash For Kids event. With a customizable fundraising page - you can add your photo and a personal story which will help to encourage donations as well as participation in the event. You can also send personalized emails with updates on your fundraising status. There is also a social profile badge that you can download, and helpful social media posts that you can use to keep your network excited and up-to-date on your progress. Lastly, we have creative, fun and engaging ideas on our Resources Page that make it easy to collect donations.

A donation is as easy as 1,2,3! You can search for individuals you wish to donate to here! Simply type in the individual name in the search field and you will be taken directly to their page to make a donation.
To make it easy for you, we encourage all donations to come through your online fundraising pages using the available credit card options. In the event you receive cash or cheque donations, fill out a pledge form found on our Resources Page and mail a cheque, for the total amount, to: The Sunshine Foundation of Canada 100-300 Wellington St. London, Ontario N6B 2L5 Donations over $20.00 will not receive a tax receipt unless we have all of their contact information. To be eligible for incentive prizing, all donations must be received by the Sunshine offices in London, ON by 5pm on Tuesday August 31, 2021.
All donations of $20.00 or more are eligible for a tax receipt. For online donations, a tax receipt is automatically emailed to the donor's email address provided at the time of donation. If donations are made offline, through cash or cheque, Sunshine will mail a tax receipt to the donor via Canada Post.
