Canada’s health-care teams are being called upon like never before. And St. Michael’s Hospital is stepping up to tackle the COVID-19 Pandemic.

In support of all those on the front lines at St. Michael's Hospital, I'm so proud to join fellow team members at the Hospital's Foundation to raise funds for our newly launched Courage Fund. We are reaching out to our own networks to expand our reach and maximize the impact of this amazing initiative.

The Courage Fund will help those who need it most right now — marginalized community members, palliative patients and St. Michael's Hospital staff. There is an urgent need for what so many of us take for granted.

For our most vulnerable, it’s food vouchers, clothes, toiletries and phones because connection is not an option. For palliative care patients, it’s tablets to speak with loved ones who can no longer stay by their side. And for St. Michael’s frontline staff who are working around the clock to care for our patients, it’s food and other essentials to keep them going.

If you donate today to St. Michael's Courage Fund, all gifts will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $3 million.
