I’m so proud to be raising funds in support of St. Michael’s Foundation, knowing that in the process I am helping two hospitals – St. Michael’s Hospital and Providence Healthcare – that are renowned for taking on some of the world’s toughest health challenges. 

St. Michael’s is a global powerhouse in medical research and is celebrated for its state-of-the-art treatment and compassionate care. And Providence is Toronto’s top centre for rehab, palliative, and long-term care.

The two hospitals are leading the HUMANCARE movement, which was launched by the St. Michael’s Foundation last year. The goal is nothing less than to reinvent Canada’s patient care experience. Because while most Canadians are happy with the quality of care they receive, the way they experience that care leaves them less than happy. HUMANCARE is all about bringing humanity to health care.
