Refugees

Treat Syrian Refugees with Compassion - Not Fear!

Almost overnight, refugees fleeing war-torn Syria have become national scapegoats for our fears about terrorism. The House of Representatives just voted to turn these most vulnerable of our sisters and brothers away from the safety our country could offer them. We can’t let the Senate vote to do the same.

We believe that compassion for the suffering of our neighbors is at the heart of biblical faith, and that welcoming “the stranger” is not optional – it’s a direct call from Jesus.

We won’t stand by while Congress looks to turn away Syrian refugees fleeing terror in their home country.

We’ll send your message to your senators – feel free to personalize it or leave it the way we have written it.
