Will you be following all state and CDC guidelines for gatherings of this size?
We have been and will continue to be monitoring the situation as it applies to this event and make adjustments up to and including cancellation if necessary. Registered attendees will be notified of any changes and communication to the general public made through all of our promotional outlets.
Where is the event?
Kickin’ Up Country is being held at Pembroke Country Club on West Elm Street in Pembroke, MA. This year we will be located in their Turnberry Room with an added space under a large event tent. You can find driving directions at www.pembrokegolf.com.
The Home Care Division of South Shore Health benefits from this event. All proceeds go to purchasing equipment and specialty items needed for the health and wellness of our Visiting Nurse and Hospice patients, providing services for patients in need and educational programs for clinicians.
What happens at the event?
Kickin’ Up Country is a dinner dance that allows you the opportunity to kick up your heels and have an evening of FUN! There is a delicious dinner and dessert; followed by dancing to a live band (if you choose), a fun photo booth, and a chance to win some great raffle prizes.
Who attends the event?
Anyone can attend the event. You don’t have to know how to dance or love country, you just have to want to have a great time and raise money for a great cause.
What should I wear?
There is no specific dress code for the event. You can come in whatever makes you comfortable. Jeans, boots and hats are staples for some of the attendees. You can get as dressed as you would like or be as casual as you please.
Do I need to know how to line dance?
No, you don’t. However, there will be plenty of people who know what they are doing on the dance floor – you can follow along, or just get up and dance as if no one was watching.
