Where is the event?
Kickin’ Up Country is being held at Pembroke Country Club on West Elm Street in Pembroke, MA. You can find driving directions at www.pembrokegolf.com.
The Home Care Division of South Shore Health System benefits from this event. All proceeds go to purchasing equipment and specialty items needed for the health and wellness of our patients, providing services for patients in need and educational programs for clinicians.
What happens at the event?
Kickin’ Up Country is a dinner dance that allows you the opportunity to kick up your heels and have an evening of FUN! There is a delicious dinner and dessert, followed by dancing – if you choose, a fun photo booth, and a chance to win some great raffle prizes.
What is the entertainment for the evening?
Kickin' Up Country is grateful to have The Jake Ash Band, new this year! They are sure to have you kickin up fun all night long!
Who attends the event?
Anyone can attend the event. You don’t have to know how to dance or love country, you just have to want to have a great time and raise money for a great cause.
What should I wear?
There is no specific dress code for the event. You can come in whatever makes you comfortable. Jeans, boots and hats are staples for some of the attendees. You can get as dressed as you would like or be as casual as you please.
Do I need to know how to line dance?
No, you don’t. However, there will be plenty of people who know what they are doing on the dance floor – you can follow along, or just get up and dance as if no one was watching.
Will line dance lessons be available?
We are offering lessons once a week for the month leading up to the event. You can attend one or all of the lessons depending on your availability. If you can’t make the lessons – no worries; there will be plenty of people you can follow along with that night. Click here for more information!
