Walk for Dementia 2024

Join us on Saturday, September 21 at 10:00 AM for the Walk for Dementia!

Why Walk?

  • Support the Community: Show your support for those impacted by dementia.
  • Honor a Loved One: Walk in honour or support of someone you care about.
  • Break the Stigma: 1 in 5 Canadians have cared for someone with dementia, yet many are hesitant to talk about it. Your participation helps break the silence.
  • Promote Brain Health: Educate your kids and family about the importance of brain health. It’s never too late or early to learn about your brain.

It starts with YOU. It starts with ALL of US.

 Event Highlights:

  • Kick off the Walk for Dementia with a joyful morning alongside the community and Piper, setting the tone for a memorable event.
  • Enjoy food, music, and discover more about your amazing brain!
  • Age-friendly entertainment for everyone, from kids to grandparents.
  • A chance to be part of a supportive and compassionate community.

Save the date and register today. Encourage your kids, family and friends to support you in your walk and build a sense of community. Help us continue our mission to provide expert, compassionate support and services in Ottawa and Renfrew County.
