Beginning now, in August, and continuing until mid-October, I am participating in the MK5K® event in support of a great organization - Mary Kay Ash Foundation. 

The Mary Kay Ash Foundation supports two very important causes, 

1 - cancers that affect women and 2 - domestic violence 

These causes affect 100% of our population directly or indirectly.  Several years ago cancer diagnoses began to pound relentlessly on the doors of my family & friends.  This was my wakeup call to help by funding research for a cure.
