Hello friends, family and fellow hockey fans!

You all know that hockey is something that I cherish and I appreciate that I am still able to both play and coach on a regular basis. The rink is my happy place! I am excited this year to take part in the 4th annual Women's Charity Beanpot Challenge, and having been a part of this amazing event since the beginning is an honor. I feel incredibly lucky to have gotten to know Travis through this evert, and while it will be incredibly difficult to not have him there in the locker room and on the bench cheering us on, I know that his profound influence on me will be deeply felt during this years game. Anyone that Travis met can attest to the incredible gift he gave us all, and I know we are all better for having known him and felt his energy, determination, and positive spirit. I will never forget the first year of this event, with Travis speaking to us in the locker room about the joy of the locker room and the camradierie and all that comes with it; it was a true culminating moment for me about the purpose that hockey has served in my life.
