This two-day program is intended for pediatric professionals interested in using point of care (POC) musculoskeletal ultrasound (MSKUS). The intended audience includes pediatricians, sports medicine providers, orthopedic providers, rheumatologists, emergency medicine providers, advanced practice providers, urgent care providers, physical therapists, athletic trainers, chiropractors and sonographers.
This engaging, hands-on program will cover ultrasound physics and knobology as well as principles in using POCUS in diagnosing common conditions seen in pediatric and adolescent in sports medicine, orthopedic, and rheumatology environments. Multi-disciplinary didactic lectures alternating with sessions for practice and demonstrate evaluation in pediatric models as well as ultrasound guided interventions.
