The cost of the 2017 Powisset Farm Summer CSA will remain at $650 this year for a full size, 20 week share. This year we will also be offering a 10 week share. The 10 week share will be the same size as the full size 20 week share, but will be picked up every other week. The 10 week shareholder will be assigned to pick up either even weeks or odd weeks for the duration of the summer. Both shares will involve pick-up at the farm, and the opportunity to harvest pick-your-own crops. Please note that there are only a limited number of 10 week shares available, and they will be sold on a first come, first served basis until all slots are filled.
The CSA will run for 20 weeks, from mid-June through mid-October. The exact start date will be weather dependent, so stay tuned via our CSA blog for updates!
Pick-up days will remain the same this year and are as follows:
We will to maintain the system of free choice with regard to pick-up day; you can come on whatever day best suits your schedule in a given week. As Tuesdays and Thursdays tend to be quieter days on the farm, we do encourage shareholders to come on those days so that Saturday pick-ups are not too packed.
Please note that this sign-up page can be used for 20-week and 10-week shares only. If you have any questions or need assistance with the sign-up process, please contact Susan, our CSA Coordinator, at PowissetFarmCSA@thetrustees.org or 978.356.5728 x4110.

Help support our Agriculture Program! Your tax-deductible contribution to our Agriculture Fund will help us to increase our donations of fresh, healthy produce to local food pantries and hunger relief organizations, and will support our work to preserve farmland, connect farmers to land, educate consumers about local food, and advocate for policies that support Massachusetts farms and farmers.
Each CSA share is associated with one person or household, who is considered the primary shareholder. Primary shareholders will receive all CSA communications and are responsible for payment of the CSA account.
Will anyone else be picking up your CSA share at times? Please note their name below if you would like them to appear on the CSA pick-up list as well. You may also opt for Secondary Shareholders to receive general CSA emails, but only Primary Shareholders will receive emails regarding CSA renewals, terms, and payments.
