About Gift Aid

Use Gift Aid and you can make your donation worth more. Under the Gift Aid scheme, we can claim an extra 25% on every donation made by a UK taxpayer. So, for every pound you give us, we can claim an extra 25 pence from the Inland Revenue.

Please notify Ubuntu Education Fund if you:
1. Want to cancel this declaration (this can be done retrospectively within 30 days)
2. Change your name or home address
3. No longer pay sufficient tax on your income and/or capital gains

A note for higher-rate taxpayers: If you pay income tax at the higher rate, you can benefit from Gift Aid. Simply print out a copy of your donation receipt and attach it to your tax return to receive 20% tax relief on your donation (i.e., the difference between the higher rate of tax at 40% and the basic rate at 20%).

Credit card companies note: Some credit card companies charge a small fee for international transactions. Donations will be converted to US dollars.
