YES, as part of The-Boneyard.com,
I want to honor Coach Jim Calhoun's incredible legacy at UConn
by making a gift to the fund described below.

calhoun-net.jpgThere are few icons in recent history who have contributed so much to the feeling of pride and accomplishment in the state as Coach Calhoun. Many have asked about contributions toward a gift in his name at UConn. This group fundraising effort from members of The-Boneyard.com* will support the following fund at The University of Connecticut Foundation, Inc.

calhoun-heart.jpg

The Pat and Jim Calhoun Cardiology Center (#22227 Cardiovascular Signature Program) Both Pat and Jim Calhoun lost parents to heart disease. Through the years, they have put their empathy and concern for other families to work—and have generously supported cardiology research at the UConn Health Center. In 2003, UConn officials announced that the entire cardiology program at the Health Center, including all patient services, education and research, would be named in honor of Pat and Jim's generosity and friendship. For more information about the Pat and Jim Calhoun Cardiology Center, please visit heart.uchc.edu.

The intent is for a group gift of $25,000 to help provide for the purchase of a cardiopulmonary bypass pump at the Pat and Jim Calhoun Cardiology Center in honor of Coach Calhoun. Our progress so far:

Progress: 129%
Progress: 129%
Raised: $ 32365     Goal: $ 25000

Join these donors from The Boneyard community, and help us both honor a legend and make a difference in the lives of cardiology patients. Non-anonymous donors to this tribute will be honored in a certificate presented to Coach Calhoun on behalf of The Boneyard, outlining the goals and effort undertaken by the community.
