Over 200 student athletes participate in the programs offered by the Bennett Institute for Physically Challenged Sports at Kennedy Krieger Institute, a therapeutic sports and recreational program for children with varying degrees of physical abilities. We would like to build our athletes a new sports park to help them live their dreams. And we need your help.
Our goal is to provide a quality baseball field with supporting facilities for children and adolescents with disabilities to play the game of baseball and other field related sports. The existing playing field will be covered with a permanent synthetic surface that will enable students in wheelchairs to participate fully in outdoor sports.
Your donation to the Charles E. Silberstein M.D. Sports Park will help provide an atmosphere where children can have fun in a safe and barrier free environment. Thank you for your generous support.
