Cardiothoracic Surgery Development Fund
The cardiothoracic (heart and lung) transplant program is the only program in the nation recognized by the U.W. Department of Health and Human Services for high performance and best practice in all key aspects of organ procurement, transplant and hospital care.
Preventive Cardiology Program Fund
UW Hospital's Preventive Cardiology Program was one of the first in the nation and remains among the most progressive and active in the country. Gifts support clinical cardiac rehab services; state, regional and national educational activities; and innovative research that is rapidly transplated into everyday practice.
Rowe Cardiovascular Training Fund
Established in honor of Dr. George G. Rowe. His 50-year legacy with the UW Medical School included helping develop cardiac catheritization as a diagnostic tool, establishing the first cath lab in Wisconsin, treating thousands of patients and inspiring countless medical students.
