I have been a long time supporter of Hospice .  Many organisations and individuals have worked long and hard to make hospice a reality in the Comox Valley.  Groups such as  Rotary, the Comox Valley Foundation  and individuals such as Terri Odeneal, Brian Rice, Audrey Craig and Maureen Swift just to name a few who had the vision to make hospice a part of our community.  The work for hospice care in the community is far from over and I hope I can make  a small contribution by being part of this event. 

On July 16th & 17th, I will be riding nearly 200km to raise funds for hospice care on Vancouver Island.

It’s a cause I believe in. Hospices provides end-of-life palliative care, counseling, bereavement support, and at-home care to patients and family members.. Despite the value of hospice  services, none are fully funded by the health care system. The care and comfort they provide is only possible because of generous community support.

I’ve promised to raise at least $10,000 to help keep Comox Valley hospice care in motion, but I need your support.
