FAMINE IN SOUTH SUDAN: EMERGENCY APPEAL

Update as of August 17th: The UN has announced that there are officially one million South Sudanese refugees in Uganda at the moment. This comes on the heels of a recently downgraded famine emergency in South Sudan announced earlier this year that affected up to 50% of the entire South Sudanese population.

Uganda is hosting the fastest growing refugee crisis in the world. Although they have welcomed refugees with open arms, the need is too much for the government of Uganda to deal with.

The world is not paying enough attention to South Sudan as its people stand on the brink of disaster. You can be one of the few who looks their way.
