Birdathon: Birding for a cause!

Birdathon brings us together each spring to get outside, count birds, and build community. The funds that we raise help Bird Alliance of Oregon continue to protect wildlife and habitats across the Oregon landscape. In its 44th year, we hope to bring in $188,000 during Birdathon and inspire people to love and protect the natural world. Minimum fundraising of $50 per participant is requested unless otherwise indicated in the team description.

Registration begins March 15 at 9 am!

There are a variety of teams to suit every birder. Teams can go out anytime from April 27 to June 2 for their Birdathon. You can also start your own team or do a solo Birdathon. Everyone raises money for Bird Alliance of Oregon.

Our Birdathon Kickoff series runs April 22-25. This series of exciting virtual classes will be available via Zoom to all who have donated or raised at least $45 by April 20.
