Welcome to My Personal Page
Fourteen years of grace. This year we will celebrate the spectical that is Dragon Boat and I will celebrate 18 years of survival.I am most greatful for both.
The first time I participated in Dragon Boat was 2010. I believe it was a turning point in my treatment. Scared weak and sick I couldn't imagine being able to power that 21 man boat across the water.With the encouragement of the steerer's and the other paddler'sI learned what people working together for a common goal can do.I had HOPE.
Over this thirteen years the proceeds from Dragon Boat has raised money to fund a tissue bank and a tumor lab,and a bone marrow transplant unit.Through the South Carolina Ovarian Cancer Foundation we provide patient support, group activite's and support groups that have spread awareness across the state.
