I'm moving to beat Parkinson's Disease! 

For the past nine years, Maryanne and I have walked and fundraised to beat Parkinson's Disease at a Moving Day NC Triangle event, eight of those years (including the upcoming walk) as the organized team "Together is Better."

This will be our final year as an organized, fundraising team. It is time to hang up our team shirts and our fundraising toolkits.

In the ten-plus years since I was diagnosed, the Parkinson's Foundation and especially the Carolinas Chapter, have been our go-to source of guidance, information, and GOOD people in the know who UNDERSTAND this disease and how it effects all of us: the person with Parkinson's, the care partner, and the family! And our source of amazing friends with PD and their wonderful care partners. 

Maryanne and I invite you to join us for this last walk and/or to donate whatever you can to the walk this last time in support of the Parkinson's Foundation--for our future and the future of the entire Carolinas Chapter.
