Moving Day Community Walk is coming to Lincolnton, NC (to serve the Piedmont area of NC)! You don't want to miss this! Our community is safely getting together to help raise awareness and funds for the Parkinson's Foundation. This is your chance to speak up about Parkinson's and take action. Your support will help the Parkinson's Foundation advance research, provide educational resources, and fund programs that make life better for people living with Parkinson's disease. We will have various exercise programs in the area to demonstrate what they do within the GYM. Shannon Rogers will share her own experience of how exercise has impacted her life and tell a little about living with Parkinson’s at a young age. She will also recognize ones in the community who strive/help those with Parkinson’s in the Piedmont area of North Carolina USA, and person’s with Parkinson’s that attend the walk will receive a special honor. There will be an opening ceremony which will feature young talent within the Licnolnton area; also, there will be an awards ceremony following the walk. There will be an onsite fundraiser to benefit the local support group, and local exercise programs. Please come support the Parkinson’s community on the 21st day of September 2024.  There will be special prizes for teams who register before August 21, 2024, and the team who raises the most monies will get special recognition. Registration

We ask that everyone who plans to attend Community Walk please register by clicking the Register button at the top of this page. There is no registration fee to participate, but a donation is very much appreciated.

How To Participate

Throw on comfortable clothes, lace up your exercise shoes and join us at Betty Ross Park in Lincolnton, NC on April 20th to join the fun. The event will take place rain or shine. Check the weather forecast to prepare accordingly. Should conditions warrant any change, we will announce it via this website.
